Roberto Enrique Clemente Walker (Carolina, Puerto Rico; August 18, 1934 - December 31, 1972) was a Puerto Rican professional baseball player. He played at the right fielder position and spent his entire career with the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB). Nicknamed The Great. He had to experience racial discrimination in society and in American baseball despite not having that nationality and only because of the color of his skin.
